Tallow is rendered beef fat, specifically the fat located around the kidneys. At Healthyhomestead we locally source all our suet and triple render it to reveal a beautiful odorless tallow. Tallow is the original skincare product of our ancestors and was used for centuries before there was a single grocery store skincare product filled with toxins. It might seem strange at first to use something like beef fat on your skin, however, using tallow for a skin moisturizer is a practice that is thousands of years old and still the most reliable product for all your skincare needs.
